A full-time, on-site opportunity is available for a School Psychologist at an elementary school in Toledo, OR. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, beginning on September 2, 2025, and concluding on June 11, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services to support both general education and special education students.
- Manage a caseload averaging 1 to 800 general education students and approximately 1 to 130 special education students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and deliver interventions to address student learning and behavioral needs.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably grades K-6.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with knowledge of special education regulations.
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining attention to detail and individualized student care.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Toledo, Oregon, with consideration for candidates closer to the Lincoln City area, where the focus would be on kindergarten through sixth grade age groups.
