Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized psychological services for children ages 3-5 in a single school located in Whiteland, IN, approximately 25 minutes south of Indianapolis. The assignment runs for a short-term leave period from July 26, 2021, through October 25, 2021, totaling a 13-week commitment. The primary focus will be completing scheduled assessments during this timeframe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments for early childhood students (ages 3-5) as scheduled
- Collaborating with school staff to interpret assessment results and support student development
- Providing clear, detailed reports to inform educational planning
- Participating in meetings relevant to assessment findings and student progress
Desired qualifications:
- Certification and experience as a School Psychologist
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting developmental and educational assessments for young children
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with educators, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage workload efficiently within the defined 37.5 working hours per week
