Teacher of the Visually ImpairedJob Description:
- Assess and Support Student Needs: Evaluate the visual and educational needs of students with visual impairments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to support their academic progress.
- Adapt and Provide Accessible Materials: Modify classroom materials into accessible formats (Braille, large print, audio, or digital) and teach students how to use assistive technologies.
- Collaborate with School Staff and Families: Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure an inclusive learning environment and provide strategies to accommodate visual needs.
- Teach Independent Living and Orientation Skills: Instruct students in orientation and mobility, daily living skills, and other essential skills for independence and self-advocacy.
- Caseload details will be discussed on the interview.
Pay & Benefits:
- Highly competitive compensation $35-40/hr

Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
