Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related area
• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
• Must pass Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check and fingerprinting
• Prior experience in a school environment preferred

Job Duties:

• Design and implement IEPs for students with a variety of disabilities
• Provide direct and consultative services to students and teachers
• Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional strategies
• Monitor and document student progress toward goals
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
