Location: near Wissahickon, PA
Schedule: MondayFriday | Start Date: Immediately
Duration: Through August 4, 2025

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite contract position near Wissahickon, PA. This is a 20242025 school year role working with approximately 20 students in grades K12.

Work Schedule

• NowJune 17, 2025: 8:30 AM 3:30 PM

• June 30August 4, 2025: 8:30 AM 1:30 PM

• Note: School is closed from June 18June 27 and on July 4

Major Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and classroom-based counseling services

• Conduct parent and staff consultation and offer case management

• Assess risk of harm to self/others and coordinate emergency services as needed

• Assist families in accessing relevant munity resources

• Facilitate munication with outside mental health providers

• Participate in the IEP process: write present levels, develop goals, and contribute progress reports

• Submit clinical and educational documentation promptly and accurately

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution

• Active PA licensure (LSW, LCSW, or LPC required)

• PDE certification preferred (as a school social worker or school counselor)

• Experience with students diagnosed with autism and emotional disturbance preferred

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations preferred

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, especially regarding child welfare and special education

• Ability to municate professionally with stakeholders and manage documentation efficiently

• Must have current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances
