Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a comprehensive support system.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student performance and progress in alignment with state requirements.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes social and emotional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE Certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience working with students, particularly those with Autism, in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and adapt curriculum as needed.
