Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan K-12th Special Education Certification (SLD preferred)
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant educational laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
Location: East Leroy, MI
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure effective integration of students into the classroom
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities
- Assess and evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress
