Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation as required by state regulations.
- Facilitate inclusive classroom practices that promote social and emotional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid EC-4 or EC-6 certification, along with a Special Education certification.
- Experience in early childhood education, preferably with special education.
- ESL certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
