Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required.

A K-12 educational opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf / Hard of Hearing instruction. This contract position requires an itinerant professional who will travel between multiple school sites to support a caseload of 16 students ranging from Early Childhood through age 21.

• Arvada, CO

Position Details:

• Contract duration: August 11, 2025 May 22, 2026
• Hours: 30 per week
• Caseload: 16 students (Early Childhood to 21 years old)
• Itinerant role requiring travel to multiple school sites

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure in Deaf / Hard of Hearing education
• Experience working with K-12 students with hearing impairments
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
• Strong munication skills and adaptability for traveling between schools

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
• Travel between assigned school sites to deliver services
