A K-12 school in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a full-semester contract position. This role involves conducting assessments, case studies, and supporting child development initiatives within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and case studies for students transitioning from early intervention using Play-Based Assessment.
- Lead weekly child find team meetings to review new student screening information.
- Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings, addressing newly identified domains for referred students.
- Manage approximately 10-15 prehensive case studies and screen 40-50 students during the contract term.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have an active Illinois license and Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Proven experience with Linders Play-Based Assessment.
- Strong understanding of child development and experience working with young children.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
