A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support an elementary school for the 2025-2026 school year in Papillion, NE. This single-building assignment serves approximately 350 students across all 13 disability categories outlined in Nebraska Rule 51. The role is ideal for professionals skilled in prehensive educational evaluations and experienced in developing behavior plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations, utilizing various assessment tools and rating scales.
- Manage a caseload enpassing a wide range of disabilities, providing testing and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) as required.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Facilitate Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, including running sessions and writing detailed MDT reports.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate on student progress and educational planning.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and pliance with state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Nebraska.
- Proficiency in conducting a broad spectrum of evaluations consistent with Rule 51.
- Strong skills in behavior assessment and plan development.
- Experience working within an elementary school setting preferred.
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong munication skills for interaction with staff, parents, and stakeholders.
Location & Schedule:
- Elementary school setting in Papillion, Nebraska
- School year contract from August 2025 to May 2026
- Typical hours: 7:45 AM 3:45 PM, with some flexibility for before/after school meetings
