Additionally, this position offers education and resources to families, schools, and community members, clarifying the agency's role, fostering community relations, and overseeing the internship program.
MERIT HIRE
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplements by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
- And two years minimum of professional experience in the field of children, youth, and families.
- Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Clearances required to obtain prior to hire (see attachment for further explanation):
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33)
- Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check (Act 34)
- FBI Criminal Background Check (Act 73)
