A reputable elementary school in Joliet, IL is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time contract position from September through December. This role is ideal for a professional specializing in psychological evaluations within an educational setting, working primarily with students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-5 students
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to support student development and learning needs
  • Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations
  • Assist in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain detailed and confidential student records
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license
  • Experience conducting evaluations in an elementary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of child development and psychological assessment tools
  • Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school personnel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in psychological practice

Location: Joliet, Illinois
Schedule: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Duration: September to December (contract for the school year)
