We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable, driven candidates to partner with us and put our students on the road to success so that they can reach their full potential. Our ideal candidate for this position is an experienced School Administrator/Teacher.


Principal (or Assistant Principal) is responsible for coordinating with staff/students/parents. They must also maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. Additionally, they will build strong relationships that benefit the ALA educational community.


  • Summary of role and responsibilities:
    • Create plans of action to ensure the schools purpose/goals are being met
    • Evaluate school practices and suggest and develop methods for improvement
    • Oversee stakeholder involvement and improvement initiatives
    • Develop practices that ensure Islamic beliefs and practices are evident in the school and curriculum
    • Participate in managing the accreditation process and practices
    • Help develop and manage the Strategic and School Improvement Plan
    • Create programs and practices that improve schools, culture, learning, and stakeholder involvement
    • Develop motivational assemblies for staff, students, and parents
    • Evaluate and make amendments to school policies
    • Develop practices to resolve disputes
    • Develop and oversee PD activities
    • Develop and oversee classroom management
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Academy to answer questions

    School Culture and Stakeholder Involvement:

    • Oversee SIP(School Improvement Planning) initiatives
    • Monitor and evaluate the school culture and stakeholder involvement for improvement
    • Schedule, evaluate, and interpret school survey data; summarize and communicate outcomes; and develop plans for improvement
    • Develop, oversee, and manage focus groups
    • Manage Assemblies and Assembly Practices

    Teaching and Learning:

    • Manage PD initiatives
    • Onboarding orientation (for school policies and practices)
    • Conduct Informal observations and classroom management; monitor, evaluate, and follow up.
    • Prepare a TIP related to informal observations and classroom management
    • Resolve Disputes

    Parents & Students

    • Enforce policies
    • Resolve disputes
    • Builds strong relationships and holds high expectations for students, holds students best interests in mind, keeps own commitments to students and makes sure others do the same, and builds a culture of respect for all students
    • Onboarding orientation (for school policies and practices)
    • Correspond with parents and students by email, phone, or virtual meeting as needed
    • Respond to parents' and students inquiries as needed
    • Answer and make calls when applicable



Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Contract basis

Schedule:Weekdays + Some Weekends

  • Mon-Fri - 7:30am-4:30pm
  • Sat-Sun - Some weekend time would be required for school events and activities
