A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Chandler, AZ. This contract role provides the opportunity to work closely with young students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social development through comprehensive psychological evaluations and interventions.
Responsibilities include conducting 30-50 initial evaluations and approximately 10 re-evaluations per school year, contributing to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within the Elementary Pupil Program (EPP). You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to assess students needs and recommend appropriate services and supports.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or licensure
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments for elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage multiple evaluations and maintain accurate records
