Job Purpose:At Denova Collaborative Health, our Behavioral Health Interns are more than just students—they're future changemakers. As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting individuals and families in need, working alongside a compassionate and innovative team committed to integrated care. You’ll be an essential part of a movement that’s redefining mental wellness in Arizona.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct intake assessments and participate in service planning and crisis intervention
- Deliver individual, family, couple, and group therapy under supervision
- Build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships with those you serve
- Propose treatment strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs
- Attend and contribute to individual and group supervision
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with licensure requirements
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support case management services
- Use data systems for records and administrative tasks
- Adapt your approach to meet evolving client needs and goals
- Assist with projects that support innovation and growth within the practice.
What We Need From You:
- Graduate-level student (Second-year or Advanced Standing) pursuing a Master’s in Social Work or Counseling at an approved university
- Active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and TB Screener
- FA/CPR Certification (optional for virtual placements)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for mental health, advocacy, and serving diverse communities
- Ability to meet documentation deadlines and maintain compliance standards
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and be mentored by experienced clinicians.
