This contract position is located in Pflugerville, TX, for the duration of the school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students and staff alike.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student mental health and academic success.
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide policies and practices regarding mental health.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings is preferred.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultative skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
