A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-8 school located in Oakland, CA. This contract role involves supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade with psychological services designed to promote their academic, social, and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students TK-8th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being and academic achievement
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support problem-solving for student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies
Qualifications:
- Active Licensure and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in school psychology
- Experience working within a K-12 school setting, preferably with TK-8 students
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently within one school site
