An exciting opportunity exists for dedicated professionals specializing in school psychology. This role involves providing essential psychological services to middle and high school students across multiple school sites in Aurora, CO. The position is set to start on July 23, 2025, and continue through June 2, 2026, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in middle and high school settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
Aurora, Colorado
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct services, including counseling and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement behavioral interventions and support strategies
- Conduct training sessions for staff on mental health and wellness
- Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice
