Hearing Impaired Teacher (Itinerant)
Full-Time
Location: Sumter, SC
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Contract Dates: July 25, 2025 May 22, 2026

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a qualified Hearing Impaired Teacher (DHH) to support students across multiple school sites in Sumter, South Carolina for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, itinerant role working with approximately 30 students.

Position Details:

• Itinerant position serving students across multiple school campuses

• Support approximately 30 students

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support FM systems and other hearing assistance technologies

• Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

• Ensure access to curriculum and promote language development

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License

• Licensed as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) or hold an equivalent certification/license

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple locations
