A K-12 educational institution in Chesterfield, SC, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist with an active South Carolina school psychologist license to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position spans the full school year, offering a dedicated opportunity to contribute to student success through comprehensive psychological evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychological evaluations, with an expectation to complete each within 5-7 hours
- Utilize EdPlan (IEP system) efficiently, as proficiency with this platform is critical for the role
- Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and development across K-12 grades
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of evaluations and related assessments
- Participate in meetings and contribute professional insights to develop individualized education plans
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active school psychologist license in South Carolina is required
- Proven experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations in a school setting
- Strong familiarity with EdPlan or equivalent IEP management systems
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet evaluation turnaround expectations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across grade levels and with multidisciplinary teams
