Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Dearborn, MI. This position involves a full-semester contract with onsite responsibilities, providing dedicated psychological services to meet the diverse needs of the student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments and interpret results for a K-12 caseload.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff to promote student well-being.
  • Prepare thorough documentation including paperwork, reports, and planning related to assessments and interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan-specific laws and guidelines, including MARSE.
  • Evaluate English Language Learner (ELL) students using culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate methods.
  • Foster engagement and collaboration within the school community to enhance student support systems.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Michigan school psychologist license or willingness to obtain one promptly.
  • Familiarity with Michigan laws governing school psychology practice, particularly MARSE requirements.
  • Experience with assessing and supporting ELL students.
  • Strong skills in teamwork, communication, and advocacy within an educational environment.
  • Ability to manage a comprehensive workload including direct service and indirect tasks within a 35-hour workweek.

  • Position is based onsite in Dearborn, MI, serving K-12 students.
