An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential support in a K-12 educational setting in West Hartford, CT. This position is a long-term leave contract lasting from August through November, requiring a full-time mitment of five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments for students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend relevant meetings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
- Provide consultation and counseling services to students as needed.
- Maintain detailed records in pliance with school and district policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within leave coverage assignments.
