Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans based on test results.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and mental health.
- Attend and participate in eligibility meetings and ARD meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
- Provide guidance on behavioral issues and develop strategies for effective classroom management.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist License in Texas.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures related to student support services.
