Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience or training in college counseling, student advising, or a related field
- Previous experience in an academic or counseling environment preferred
- Excellent phone and front-office etiquette; polished, professional, and personable communication
- Friendly, welcoming, and service-oriented personality
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and anticipate needs
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborative team player who values open communication, respects deadlines, and solves problems with grace and integrity
- Maintains discretion and handles sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
- Demonstrates poise, flexibility, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient in Google Workspace; experience with FACTS RenWeb is a plus
- Meets background check requirements for employment in a school environment
- Professional demeanor, punctual, and reliable
- Valid state drivers license required
- Strong time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage and execute long-term projects and daily tasks efficiently
- Warm and approachable, with a genuine enjoyment of working with students and families

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate administration of PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP testing
- Schedule and host visits from college admissions representatives
- Support planning and execution of College Counseling events throughout the year
- Keep College Counseling communications current and resource-rich for families
- Promote College Counseling news and events through social media, newsletters, and emails
- Process academic records including transcript updates, uploads, and application documentation
- Collaborate with counselors to meet deadlines and support student applications
Maintain organized digital resources for families and students - Assist the Director of College Counseling and Associate Director of College Counseling and collaborate with the Registrar, Director of Student Life, Upper School Principal, and Upper School Counselor on shared projects and priorities

This is an 11-month, full-time (40 hours/week) contract position.
