Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
This role offers an opportunity to provide essential psychological services to elementary school students within a supportive educational environment. The position is full-time, contracted for one full semester, demanding a mitment of 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities include conducting prehensive psychological assessments for students, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. The caseload ranges from 20 to 24 students, with variations based on IEP requirements.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws related to special education.
- Effective munication skills for working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate documentation.
