Job DescriptionDescription:

The Technical Trainer Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering hands-on and classroom training programs for Operations employees. This role ensures that new hires and existing staff receive the technical instruction needed to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational standards. The Technical Trainer collaborates closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality departments to identify skill gaps and design training that aligns with business goals and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deliver technical training to ensure procedures are being followed.
  2. Create training schedules for new hires and annual training, track progress, and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the operations.
  3. Co-manage the document control system for training materials.
  4. Perform periodic audits of Operations processes and documentation to identify deficiencies.
  5. Support the training programs offered and serve as a resource for training and career development to employees and VIVEX customers.
  6. Assist employees with registration and preparation activities for professional development certifications and exams.
  7. Assist in the management of the Learning Management System.
  8. Maintain knowledge of and support VIVEX policies and procedures.
  9. Maintain knowledge of appropriate regulatory, statutory, accreditation requirements, and current Good Tissue Practices.
  10. Participate in the investigation, implementation of corrective actions, and documentation of complaint files and deviation reports, as needed.

Qualifications

BS degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years Quality, Regulatory, or biotechnology experience preferred.

Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise sound judgment. Ability to problem solve, analyze, and give recommendations. Must be detail oriented and organized. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary groups.

Working conditions

On-site work schedule. Some evening and weekend availability may be required.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee may occasionally be required to pull, lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
