Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years visually impaired experience required.

VocoVision is seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired to join our team.This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing valuable educational services to visually impaired students across diverse munities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' visual impairments and educational needs.

- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each student's unique learning goals and acmodations.

- Provide direct instruction and support services to visually impaired students using our online platform, ensuring accessibility and engagement.

- Collaborate with educational teams, including parents, therapists, and school staff, to coordinate prehensive educational plans.

- Utilize assistive technology and resources effectively to enhance learning experiences for visually impaired students.

- Maintain accurate records of student progress, services provided, and munication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Masters degree or higher in Education of the Visually Impaired or related field.

- Valid Mississippistate teaching certification in Visual Impairment Education.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching visually impaired students.

- Proficiency in using technology for virtual instruction and assessments.

- Strong munication skills and ability to build rapport in a virtual environment.
