A K-12 school in Clarion, IA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the uping school year. This contract position provides a valuable opportunity to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services aimed at promoting positive student outes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and monitor progress
- Assist with data collection and maintain accurate documentation in pliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
