This opportunity is for a dedicated and skilled school psychologist to support K-12 students over the course of the school year. The position is a part-time contract role, offering 2 days per week of work, scheduled as 7.5 hours on two days and 3.5 hours on another day. The assignment runs from September 3 through June 12 and involves managing a caseload of approximately 20 reevaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological testing for reevaluations
- Support the development and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create effective intervention plans
- Assist in identifying and addressing students academic and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and pliance with district and state guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with K-12 students across a range of needs
- Skilled in administering and interpreting psychological assessments
- Strong knowledge of behavior assessment and intervention techniques
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
