Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, on-site opportunity with a respected school district in the Summerville, SC area.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related field

• Active South Carolina teaching certification with appropriate DHH endorsement

• Previous experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing (preferred)

• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities May Include:

• Providing specialized instruction to K12 students with hearing impairments

• Collaborating with general and special education staff to support student success

• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal-setting

• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction as needed

• Supporting the use of hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other assistive technologies
