A K-12 school in Corona, CA, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position spanning the full school year.
This role involves working directly with students, educators, and families to support mental health, learning, and behavioral needs across all grade levels. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting prehensive psychological evaluations, providing counseling services, and developing intervention plans tailored to individual student needs. Collaboration with teachers, administrators, and other support staff is essential to create inclusive and supportive educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as necessary
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with confidentiality requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license in California
- Proven experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently
