We are seeking an experienced and passionate Extended Care Teacher to join our team. As an Extended Care Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will work with infants and with children aged 3-5 years old, providing them with a range of activities that promote their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in our care
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the program
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
- CDA in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
