A school in Jacksonville, Arkansas, is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide educational support for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position spans the academic school year, from August 13, 2025, to May 21, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37 hours per week over 5 days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver specialized instruction to support diverse learning abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to promote student success
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Special Education (SPED) license in Arkansas
• Experience working with K-12 students with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
