Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A full-time school psychologist position is available to provide comprehensive psychological services at the elementary level. This contract role is designed to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for elementary students to identify learning needs and disabilities.
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success and well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) in School Psychology.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data interpretation, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively.
