A middle school Special Education professional is needed to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges that affect their participation in the general curriculum. This position is based at a single school site and involves managing a caseload of approximately six students. The role demands flexibility in scheduling to effectively address the diverse needs of each student.

- Contract Duration: August 19 to May 30 (Non-School Year contract)
- Hours: 7.25 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Caseload: About 6 students
- Number of school sites: 1
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience working with middle school students in special education settings
- Ability to provide support to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties
- Flexibility to adjust schedules based on student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and general curriculum access
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored educational support to students accessing the general curriculum while managing emotional and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to integrate accommodations and interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain a flexible schedule to meet student needs effectively
- Participate in meetings and contribute to planning that supports student success
