An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an educational setting in Eden Prairie, MN. This contract position is for the uping school year, focusing on delivering inclusive and tailored educational experiences to meet diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with varying special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and municate regularly with stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes student growth and confidence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to acmodate different learning styles.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
