We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team in Socorro, NM for the upcoming school year. About the Role:
In this position, you'll support young learners (typically Pre-K to Kindergarten age) with diverse learning needs, delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with both early childhood and special education standards. Youll play a vital role in fostering early cognitive, emotional, social, and motor skills that set the stage for future academic success.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for early learners

Deliver engaging, play-based, and structured lessons aligned with New Mexico standards

Utilize inclusive, research-based strategies tailored to each childs strengths and needs

Collaborate with families, therapists, aides, and fellow educators to support student growth

Monitor and document developmental progress regularly
Required Qualifications:

Valid New Mexico Early Childhood Education License

Valid New Mexico Special Education License

Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field

Experience working with preschool-age children with disabilities preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
