Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist License in North Carolina (required)
- Previous experience in K5 or elementary school settings preferred
- Strong background in conducting psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
- Ability to work independently across multiple school sites
- Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills
Location:
Charlotte, NC Area Elementary campuses (specific sites to be confirmed)
Position Details:
- Contract Term: August 26, 2025 June 30, 2026
- Focus: Primarily initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Estimated 2030 initial evaluations per school, though caseload may vary
- Caseload: Elementary students only
- Onsite Only No virtual or teletherapy options
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and re-evaluation psychoeducational assessments
- Complete evaluation reports aligned with district and state requirements
- Participate in eligibility meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to interpret assessment data
- Ensure compliance with timelines and special education procedures
- Provide services across assigned elementary campuses as scheduled
