Job Description
Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic SchoolWhere Christ is Our Teacher

Do you feel called to teach in a Catholic school?

Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic School is seeking a passionate and faith-filled Catholic educator to inspire young minds and form disciples of Christ. We’re looking for someone who is not only a skilled teacher, but a committed disciple of Jesus—someone eager to lead students into a deeper relationship with Him and help them come to know His love personally.

Teaching in a Catholic school is more than a profession—it’s a vocation. It’s a response to God’s call to share your gifts, wisdom, compassion, and faith in service to others. It’s work rooted in conviction, joy, and the hope of shaping both hearts and minds for a lifetime.

If this resonates with you, we invite you to apply to join our dynamic and faith-filled team as a Middle School Teacher of Social Studies, Math, and/or Religion, for students in 6th-8th grades.

About Us

  • At Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic School we are a joyful Catholic Family, where Christ is our teacher.

  • We are faithful disciples nourished by reverent celebration of the Sacraments, lifelong students growing in holiness and virtue, a generous community enriched by traditions and fellowship, and devoted servants fueled by missionary zeal.

  • We are blessed by the presence of two religious communities – the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and the priests and brothers of Pro Ecclesia Sancta, along with many dedicate lay staff members.

  • We work from an understanding that to educate a child in the wonders of the world is to educate that child in God Himself. Thus, every subject is like an open window through which we touch eternity. As we form our minds in knowledge, we come to know ourselves and our Creator better.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who believes in our mission and is ready to witness to the evangelizing love of Jesus Christ in the classroom, in the content areas of Social Studies, Math, and/or Religion, for students in 6th-8th grades.

Classroom Culture: Lead a well-managed classroom where the faith is immersed through the integration of prayer, faith, virtue, and reflection into the daily life of the students.

Instructional Excellence: Create a positive, supportive environment that fosters student engagement, respect, and a sense of community, while also meeting the unique needs, talents, and interests of each student.

Collaboration with Parents: Support the parents in their primary role as educators through regular communication, updates, conferences, and accessible channels.

Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with teachers, administrators, our pastor, and support staff to promote a culture that is aimed at helping students to flourish in the world, but more importantly encouraging them to become Saints.

Growth Mindset: Engage in professional development and personal spiritual growth opportunities to enhance your practice.

Joyful Witness: Demonstrate enthusiastic support for our mission, a love for children, and a desire to inspire wonder while living as an outstanding example of the Catholic faith, aligning your professional and personal life with the doctrines and moral teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

1. Instruct students at a high level on a daily basis in the subject(s) designated in the teacher’s contract and cater instruction to various student needs
