Position: Certified Lead Teacher
Rate: $50 per hour
Focused Staffing Group's partner school is looking for new team members who have experience working with children. We are looking for a Certified Lead Teacher to work in their Preschool Expansion Program.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of your students
- Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with each child and parent
- Team player with your co-teachers and staff
- Leadership skills, well organized and energetic about working with children and teaching
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of children
- Accepts responsibility for maintenance and well-kept classroom
- Maintain records on each child’s daily report
- Attends required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions
- Able to lift up to 35lbs
Qualifications:
- New Jersey P-3 Teaching Certification required
- Prior classroom experience in childcare preferred
- Early Childhood Education candidate preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Child Development Associate or 90 classroom hours in Early Childhood Education
- Early Childhood Development
