This role is designed for a dedicated Special Education Teacher working with students in grades K-5 within an academically focused elementary school environment in Washington, PA. The position spans the entire school year on a contract basis and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a specialized needs setting primarily serving students with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Manage cases effectively, including developing and implementing behavior plans.
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student growth and achievement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet educational standards.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support an academically driven environment without aggressive behavior concerns.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education (K-12) certification is required.
• Elementary (K-5) generalist certification is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with behavior plans and special education case management is highly desirable.
• Ability to work within a specialized school setting focused on academic excellence.
• Strong munication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM EST (35 hours per week).
• Located in Washington, PA, within an elementary school serving a unique student population.
