A dedicated Social Worker position is available to support students across K-12 classrooms in a dynamic school environment. This role is instrumental in providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to students, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct counseling sessions to address student needs and promote mental health
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans
- Assess social, emotional, and academic challenges and remend appropriate interventions
- Facilitate group work and classroom activities focused on social skills development
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with applicable confidentiality requirements
- Connect students and families to munity resources and services when necessary
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) with state licensure preferred
- Experience working with K-12 aged children in a school or similar setting
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Knowledge of intervention strategies and crisis management
