An opportunity awaits for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential evaluation and support services within a TK-8th grade STEM-focused campus in Oroville, CA. This role is designed for professionals who are eager to contribute their expertise to foster an inclusive educational environment for approximately 520 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with special education staff to develop and implement strategies that accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Provide consultation and training to educators on best practices for supporting students with special needs.
- Engage with students, families, and faculty to promote mental health awareness and resources.
- Remain informed about developments in psychology and education to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology with a focus on School Psychology.
- Valid California license or eligibility for licensure in School Psychology.
- Experience with special education processes and regulations, particularly in a K-8 setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families.
