This full-time position focuses on serving students at the Adult Transition level, specifically those aged 19-22, within a Moderate/Severe Special Education setting. The role involves working closely with a diverse caseload of up to 10 students, fostering their learning and development with the assistance of two paraprofessional aides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education
- Prior experience working with high school-aged students, particularly in transition programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom aides and other staff
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant teaching strategies

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored instructional plans to meet individual student needs
