A contract opening is available for a skilled school psychologist to support K-12 students in Fremont, CA. This role involves working within the school environment to assess, consult, and implement psychological strategies that enhance student learning, development, and well-being throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student behavioral and emotional needs
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide counseling support as necessary
- Maintain detailed records and documentation consistent with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in school-based settings
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and procedures
- Strong munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to administer and interpret a wide range of psychological tests
