Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic and experienced Tutors who have an active Teacher's Certification. We are also seeking individuals who are bilingual.Tutors will work during school and after school hours.
Limitless Endeavors Non Profit Organization is currently seeking Tutors to provide services to youth and young adults within the DMV area. We're looking to fill a full time and part-time position We're interested in hiring a flexible, positive and personable individual who is capable of planning interesting lessons, discussing interesting topics with students and motivating them to be their best. Our ideal tutor is a highly-skilled professional with a passion for education and a desire to help students achieve academic success. We are seeking part time and full time positions.
Responsibilities:
- Help students understand new concepts
- Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments
- Teach problem-solving skills
- Prepare lessons
- Communicate with parents and teachers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Tutor is preferred
- Teaching Certificate Required
- Experience with working with youth in General and Special Education
- Bilingual Preferred
- High school diploma/GED required, bachelors degree preferred
- Patient, understanding, and reliable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
