Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Tijeras, NM is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contracted role spanning the entire school year. This position involves providing prehensive psychological services to support the educational and emotional development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs and support strategies.
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and ply with all relevant regulations and school policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and munication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
