A specialized teaching opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher focused on the Elementary level within the ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) program. This role is designed for a dedicated professional mitted to supporting students with diverse learning needs from early childhood through elementary grades within a K-12 school setting.
Location: New Braunfels, TX
Assignment Duration: New School Year (NSY) Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements within the ECSE framework.
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions that promote inclusive learning environments for young students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure prehensive support for each childs educational development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction strategies as needed, maintaining detailed documentation and pliance with state and federal regulations.
- Foster social, emotional, and academic growth while maintaining a positive, engaging classroom climate.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification applicable to ECSE and Elementary settings.
- Proven experience teaching young students with special needs in an early childhood or elementary program.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development, special education methodologies, and state guidelines for special education pliance.
- Effective munication skills to interact with students, parents, and school staff.
