Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years teaching experience required.

A full-semester contractual opportunity is available for a 6th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) educator at an elementary school in Denmark, South Carolina. This role focuses on delivering prehensive ELA instruction to sixth-grade students, fostering both literacy and a love of learning through engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement daily ELA lessons that adhere to educational standards and promote student engagement.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and collaboration.
• municate effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators to support student academic growth and address individual needs.
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification or qualification to teach General Education, preferably specializing in Elementary Education.
• Experience teaching ELA to 6th-grade students is highly advantageous.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
• Excellent munication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school munity.

Location: Denmark, South Carolina
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (July 28, 2025 June 2, 2026)
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
